“People think dreams aren't real just because they aren't made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” - Neil Gaiman

I have a fondness for reading, writing, and gaming. I'm not very good at socialising, so I often have abrupt conversation endings. I'm known for purchasing unorthodox items as my souvenirs from travels, and quite frankly, I'm rather fond of my eccentric reputation. A part of it may have translated into my blog posts but that's the fun for me.

I started this blog in February 2015, after a year of hiatus from the blogging community and many on-and-offs with blogs because I could never settle with a name before. However, I have set myself down with Paper O'Clock. It doesn't tie me down to books specifically, but it does not fall too far from the bookish tree.

In December 2015, I also started blogging in Chinese (or Mandarin, if it pleases you) so as to spice things up a little. Plus reviewing Chinese books in Chinese reduces the things lost in translation, and Chinese books are becoming one of those precious things I want to recommend to my foreign bookish friends (if only there are good translations of them)!
